~ What is "LinkUs Hub" or "The Hub"?
"The Hub" is a financial discussion-room unlike any other. It is where our fellowship of traders and investors gather and communicate LIVE with each other 24x7 to discuss all things related to the market.
It is like a round table. All participants are truly equals. Though we don't gather in timely meetings as
the knights used to do in the old days, we stop here frequently 24x7. We also leave
our notes on the table for others to read when they also stop by later to drop their own work. Others will come later to do the same thing in a free flow of information.
~ What "The Hub" is NOT?
We don't do chitchat. No empty debates either. Long useless talk? Nope! Unverified claims? Nada! Unreliable analysis? Zip! Unsupported opinions? Zero! Emotional baggage? Hell no! Whining? Never! Bragging. No chance! Immature behavior. Never! Personal attacks? On our DEAD bodies. Herd mentality. Not anytime we checked! :)
Only good and fresh market comments and
analysis that we can trust and find easily in one place that has distinct spirit and sensible guidelines.
~ How can I join "The Hub"?
Everyone is welcome to watch the LIVE Hub! It is a public forum. On the other hand, to send comments, links, or questions, you have to read and sign our mission and guidelines (click here). That's all! It is one-time for FREE life-time access and no forms needed to fill-up.~ I joined. How it works?
Post as many links with brief summary if you desire in 100 words or less per post.
Your links can be your own analysis or others that YOU found valuable
to share. If anyone wants more details about a link or analysis that was posted
in the hub, that person can go to the
posters' blogs and discuss with them that topic to expand
their knowledge.
By doing this, the rest who have no interest in that topic can pursue and find other topics of interest in the Hub without being distracted by long winded and group-thinking conversation affecting their concentration, diluting their thinking, or dragging them into a herd mentality.
Still,
if you have a question that you want someone to address believing that this is valuable to share with others, post it in 50 words or less. That person -if qualified and willing- can answer you later in 50 words or less
right in the Hub. They also can use links
to other people's work as an answer to your question.
This should not turn into a conversation. Two follow ups should be the maximum to post. If needed more, start a conversation in an external place like your blog and link to it here for those who are interested.
~ Can't find my question here, what should I do?

~ User manual - Instructions to use "The Hub" effectively ~
If you know that you will be a silent reader (one that never comments, asks questions, posts chart, links, etc), then you just click the play button and enjoy the conversation for as long as you like! There is noting to do other than read, watch and occasionally vote in the polling questions.
If you decide to contribute to the conversation when the Hub is open and not in "stand by"
mode, you must choose the same name
you used to sign up to identify yourself, type your comment, question, or links and click send. If you are not a full member, your
comment will not be shown immediately but we received it. If it is market related and within our mission and guidelines, it will be published as soon as someone around to
post it. Be patient! Sometimes the room is open but no one is around to allow
your comment. Come later and you'll see that your comment was published. If you still don't see it published within acceptable time, please send it again.
Benefits of using CIL as our application of choice:
1. You don’t have to set up usernames and passwords or required to download anything to watch our hub.
2. You will never need to refresh the Hub's page to follow the conversation.
3. You don't need to scroll down.
4. If music is played and you want to mute it, just use the slider next to the microphone icon on the bottom to lower the volume or mute it.
.. and many more features are added frequently.
That said, this application is not designed to be a chat-room or works like Internet messenger but we are trying to make it work like one by allowing as many people to comment within its restrictions.
............................................................
Unless you are a full member, you can skip the following part
Due
to the design of this application, full members post their comments
through different status. We have 25 "producers", 25 "panelist" and 25
"Always
allow" status at any one time. "Producers" status are the only one capable to allow comments from non full members. As long as you're a full member, you can get a producer. It is on first asked, first given.
Note: All full members MUST sign-up for CIL ID so they can manage their own posts through a producer or a panelist without the need to ask for permission every time they post.
* "Producer or panelist" is a status that allow full members to have
a console equipped with more commenting and editing tools
where you will never need to come back to the page where the hub reside but will access it from your own console that is connected to the Internet!
You will always be able to comment without need for daily permission until the chat room is closed or you decided to give it up to another member while you are away for long-period of time. To get a producer or a panelist, you first have to get a free user name (easy to establish) from CIL website. Once you get it, we will send you the invite with what available status we have.
~ Producer status members, please pay attention to few things:
1. Producers can but not obligated to help allow non-members' comments, private message them, and solve their technical issues.
2. If you decided to take care of a comment sent to the Hub, put it on hold first so other producers know it was taken care of by another producer, then go ahead and take care of it. So if you see that a comment is on hold, know that already someone took care of it. Leave it as it is.
3. Producers are encouraged but not obligated to make friendly reminders from the prewritten text folder in the media library when needed. Change your name from your console setting to display "The Fellowship" as well as your avatar to this one (Click) and post the prewritten text that address the issue. Your reminder will be posted anonymously along with the fellowship Avatar. Change your name and avatar back when finished. No other personal comments should be published under "The Fellowship".
4. If you are a new producer, familiarize yourself with the application and feel free to ask other producers any questions of how to use its tools. BE CAREFUL to end the live event by mistake. Stay away from the red X with a circle.
* "Always Allow" (AA) is a status also granted only to full members when we run out of producer or panelist status or the member has no access to his or her console. It doesn't require nor provides the console and you have to use the Hub's page to post your comments.
If you decided to use this status, you must identify yourself by typing your name, first comment, and click send. This first
comment will not be published and should read the following: [AA, please]. It will alert other producers that a full member wants access, which they will grant immediately and send you the permission.
From there, your comments will be published
instantly as if you were using an
instant messaging product or a producer/panelist console. Just, type and click send. AA status is valid as
long as you didn't exit the Hub's page. We reset all AA at the end of the day. You have to get a new one the next day.
~ AA status members, please make the producers' job easier:
1. If you know that you will not publish any more comments, ask the moderator to take you off the AA list to free space for others. You can ask for it again if you
change your mind.
2. Dedicate a browser or a tab in
your browser to the Hub's page where you'll not refresh it or close it. If you refresh, a new AA might be needed.
3. Please update your browser and your java to the latest edition and allow pop-up windows to see your permission messages.
4. Be patient! Sometimes the room is open but no one is around to AA you. Come later to see if your comment went through. We will publish it.
*If you know that you will only post one comment and need no AA, you can type [please add the next comment only] instead of [AA, please]. Your second comment will be published without giving you AA. Pay attention that if you decided "one-time permission" you'll have to ask again for another one for your next comment because you were not granted AA.
