Welcome to “The LinkUs Fellowship”. Membership is free and anyone can join. All you need is to read this page. It represents our mission and guidelines. They are the outcome of experience and decisions over two years of solving challenges communicating over the Internet. New ideas and input are welcome and future updates will make us better.
Please, kindly read them before investing your time with us to better understand our fellowship’s purpose and way of operating that helped us preserve our unique character. 1. We are an open fellowship of self-directed investors and traders aiming to build, add, learn, teach, and make a positive difference. Each one of us is proud to be a student as much as a teacher as among us we have different levels of experience with various investment methods, styles, and track records. Trading and investing encompasses a
multitude of styles and it is arrogant to think one style is superior to
the next.
Everyone is welcome! It takes a successful fellowship to raise a successful investor or trader. Diverse investment approaches strengthen us. It adds
value to our thinking and decisions. If you believe you have something
of value to share, please join us! We respect your character
and knowledge tremendously. We encourage everyone to provide their
work, analysis, information and data as well as answer questions from other members and readers.
*We use different ways to analyze the market. As long as your investment method is legitimate and can be verified, it can be shared. Its soundness to be proved only by its results not by what we think about it.
2. We seek and offer learning not quick answers or stock tips. If you come here to make a quick buck, this place is not for you. We
are here to learn the tools that can aid us in developing our own
personalized strategy and plan based on our own specific
circumstances, objectives, and risk tolerance among other things.
We never ask or offer
a personalized strategy, plan, specific stock advice, or when and where
to make any personal financial decisions. This is beyond our abilities
due to the complexity of everyone’s personal situation. If you seek this service, this place is not for you. Please, hire a qualified professional investment advisor and consult with him or her before making any decisions.

3. We never follow. We have no leaders or group thinking. We never engage in favoritism of a person or a thinking and no one of us seek followers. If you come here to find someone smarter to follow, this place is not for you. We operate solely on the bedrock of the individual spirit while making sure to expose our minds to the opposite side of our thinking. We show one another the ways that worked for us but every one of us walk their own way.
4. We verify before we trust, question before we believe and speak but listen. We study the work presented; do our own homework; and reach our own decisions. We test before we jump, never make a decision unless we are fully aware of our rational and risk behind any trade we make, and we never trade with money we cannot afford to lose.*We offer what worked for us but no one here can guarantee it will work for others the same way or at all.
5. We always explain our reasons, rationale, and provide supporting data as much as possible. In our sharing space, we post our well-thought and presented analysis as well as others for anyone who is interested in them. Emotionally motivated comments or unsupported opinions are not published. We never trade on emotions, hunches, or offer them to others!
6. We share with graciousness and maturity without looking for praise or confirmation. We never condemn other people and when we disagree, we only present our thinking as critique. We don't try to prove how smart we are or worse how the other side is not.
We also welcome
and listen to thoughtful critique of our work. The level of our
tolerance to those who disagree with our work will prove the level of
our convictions.
By doing this, we hope to reach our own decisions with our own free will, free from any peer pressure or herd mentality.
7. We welcome, discuss, and publish market related comments and questions only. We are collectively self-moderated to stay focused and productive. In our sharing space, social chats are not published or publicly exchanged at any time. Members with full access can do so through private messages only and
pursue this else where. Other non full-members can exchange
such conversations with other members on their own sites if they desire so.
8. We express our opinions freely in a respectful way. Freedom of sharing comes with it responsibility to respect every member, their unique character, and their limited time. We add, build, make a positive difference, or keep our peace. Doing one of these things below even through private messages has no place here and will not be allowed.
** Hateful or disrespectful comments to any person or group of people.
** Vulgar or offensive language unless they are mild, you are truly funny, and you know the person very well.
** Engaging in any personal attacks of any kind.
** Unfounded,
irrational or unjust comments.
We, collectively and actively, don't publish comments that doesn't adhere to our mission and goals because we believe it’s futile and consumes precious time, energy, and
space. Still written communications unlike the face-to-face, have their own challenges. Before taking any comment personally, ask for clarification privately through “private messages” in the hub if you have full membership access or ask a full member to private message you. We hope it will be resolved there. If you must still express a grievance publicly or do not have access to private messaging, please directly address whoever offended you in their blog. Don’t get anyone else involved with your complaint.
9. We are active and patient while seeking answers. If you come here looking for quick answers to your questions, this place is not for you. We can always ask for guidance of where we start if we don't know but we first research our question to see if we can find an answer else where then we can verify it with someone else in the hub if needed. After all, we are here to learn not to get prepackaged answers and solutions.
Also, if a person missed our question, we ask again. We come back later and we likely find our answer. That said, we respect people's limited time. No immediate response is expected and no one have any obligation to answer any questions.
10. We are actively participating in making our fellowship better and stronger. We either add our contributions, read other member's work, recommend or rate it, comment, ask questions, give them feedback, or all.
We strongly believe that such active participation and new members joining our fellowship are our positive indicators that we’re adding some value to each other. Their absence is a signal that we should improve.
We always give constructive feedback of how we are doing and how we can be better. Also, we are thankful in advance for any rational and founded criticism more than the appreciation we receive of what we do here. Though the second is appreciated but not needed, the first helps us fix our shortcomings and improve our efforts.
Any stagnant thing, dies. We always improve, move forward and higher. We keep our active participation alive because it keeps us going and going and going like the Energizer Bunny. Never say die!
